The facility at Como Park is used for both community sport and recreation and holds much historical significance for the City of Stonnington. The project's objective was to implement a premium natural turf with superior drainage properties.
Formerly known as Perth Oval, NIB Stadium was originally constructed in 1910. Having since become a rectangular stadium, one hundred years later, it was decided to improve the facilities and a master plan was drawn up to include more grandstands, catering and corporate facilities.

In 2014 the hallowed turf was due for a scheduled replacement and HG Sports Turf were once again appointed to complete the works using their patented product Eclipse Stabilised Turf.

Caddies Creek Reserve playing fields include four sporting fields, two amenities buildings, abundant parkland, car parking for more than 120 cars, a new playground and more than two kilometres of shared pedestrian/cycle paths. This reserve features two football fields, which are used as a cricket oval during summer.
