Warm seasons grasses like Prestige®️ Buffalo, Kikuyu and Santa Ana Sports Couch are best installed from September to April. Tall Fescue can be installed all year round. Remember to water well during the warmer months.

Topdressing refers to a layer of sand applied to the top of your newly installed grass. Prestige®️ Buffalo will benefit from being top dressed. After installing your new Buffalo turf apply Approx. 1 cubic metre to 100 square metres.

How do I get started with my turf order?
Is there a minimum order quantity for your turf?
Yes, the minimum order for all turf varieties is 30 square metres. Please contact us if your order is below our 30 square metre minimum.
How do I order turf online?
1. Go to https://shop.hgturfgroup.com.au/ and select the turf variety you’d like to order.
2. Enter the quantity in square metres (minimum quantity is 30 sqm) and add to cart.
3. Enter your delivery address and check the delivery date availability.
4. Select the delivery date and update cart.
5. Check your order details and proceed to checkout.
6. Check delivery and billing details and enter payment information.
7. Place your order!

Do I need to lay my new lawn right away or can I leave it to the next day?
It is important that you lay your turf immediately after it is delivered. If you leave your turf for more than 24 hrs it will start to heat up and compost in the stack.
How is my turf delivered?
Your new natural turf will be delivered on the back of a HG Turf semi-trailer. We use a rear- mounted forklift to place your turf on the nature strip. If you’d prefer your turf delivered up your driveway or your street is a bit tight for a delivery truck, you can notify us in advance on 1800 622 340 so we can advise our truck driver.
Can I track my order once it's been placed?
Once ready for harvest, we’ll send you a confirmation SMS the day prior to delivery with an estimated time of arrival. If you need to track your order, please call 1800 622 340.
Do you offer delivery services?
Yes, we offer delivery five days a week (Tue - Sat) to Victorian addresses. Delivery costs vary depending on your location.
